Biography
Hajj Molla Sultan Mohammad Bidokhti Gonabadi
Sultan Ali Shah Gonabadi, the 34th Qutb of the Nematollahi Order, was born in Bidokht, Gonabad, on 28 Jumada al-Awwal 1251 AH. He became distinguished for his learning in the religious sciences, philosophy, mysticism, and Quranic exegesis. After Saadat Ali Shah, he assumed the position of Qutb in 1293 AH. His Quranic commentary, Bayan al-Sa'adah fi Maqamat al-Ibadah, is one of his most important works. He died on 26 Rabi al-Awwal 1327 AH and was succeeded by his son, Nour Ali Shah II.
