Sheikh Mahmoud Deccani
Sheikh Mahmoud Deccani, also known in the Deccan as Shah Mahmoud Owlia, was the 26th Qutb of the Nematollahi Order. Sources trace his family's origins to Najaf and mention his migration to India, his time in Bidar, and his later residence in Hyderabad. In Hyderabad, he established a khanqah and devoted himself to spiritual guidance. His death is recorded on 13 Sha'ban 1100 AH. His son, Sheikh Shams od-Din Deccani, succeeded him.
