Shaker Bokharai

Biography

Shaker Bokharai was an important poet of the first half of the fourth century AH, although the details of his life are unclear. Khosravani, Manuchehri, and Sana'i mention his name alongside recognized Persian poets, evidence of his standing in the classical tradition. Only scattered fragments and verses survive.
