Biography
Reza Qoli Khan Hedayat was an important Qajar-era man of letters, poet, historian, and biographer of poets. His work collecting poets’ lives and recording the literary history of Iran created valuable sources for later scholarship. Majma' al-Fosaha and Rowzat al-Safa-ye Naseri, together with his own poetry, are among the most important parts of his scholarly and literary legacy.
