Biography

Hajj Molla Ali Gonabadi

Nour Ali Shah II, the 35th Qutb of the Nematollahi Order and the son of Sultan Ali Shah, was born in Bidokht on 17 Rabi al-Thani 1284 AH. To study different religions and traditions, he undertook extensive journeys through Central Asia, Afghanistan, India, the Hijaz, Iraq, Yemen, Egypt, and the Ottoman territories. He succeeded his father after the latter's death in 1327 AH. He died on 15 Rabi al-Awwal 1337 AH and was succeeded by Saleh Ali Shah.
