Biography
Mirza Mohammad Hosayn Damavandi
Nowras Damavandi was a poet and calligrapher of the late eleventh century AH who moved from Damavand to Isfahan and became a student of Saeb Tabrizi. His poetry developed within the Indian style and the poetic manner associated with Saeb. A manuscript of his divan copied in the poet’s own hand survives and is a principal source for his work.
