Biography
Mir Abed
Seyda Nasafi was a Persian-language poet of Transoxiana and an important representative of Bukhara poetry during the Safavid and Ashtarkhanid periods. His verse remained close to the language of ordinary people, urban life, and social occupations, a quality especially visible in his Shahr-ashub. His divan and Shahr-ashub are his principal known works.
