Biography
Hajj Mirza Zeyn ol-Abedin Shirvani
Mast Ali Shah, the 31st Qutb of the Nematollahi Order, was a mystic, writer, and traveler of the Qajar period. He was born in Shamakhi, Shirvan, in the middle of Sha'ban 1194 AH and spent many years traveling through Iran, India, Arab lands, and other regions. After joining Majzoub Ali Shah, he was designated as his successor and served as Qutb from 1239 to 1253 AH. His best-known works include Bostan al-Siyahah, Riyaz al-Siyahah, Hadaeq al-Siyahah, and Kashf al-Maaref.
