Biography
Hajj Ali Tabandeh
Mahboub Ali Shah, the 38th Qutb of the Nematollahi Order and the son of Reza Ali Shah II, was born on 13 November 1945. He studied at the universities of Mashhad and Tehran, graduating in Persian language and literature. In 1364 SH, he received authorization for spiritual guidance under the title Mahboub Ali, and in 1365 SH he received a decree of succession. After his father's death in 1371 SH, he became Qutb and remained in that position until his death on 16 January 1997. His known works include Hozur-e Qalb, Khorshid-e Tabandeh, Zohur al-Eshq al-A'la, and Ahd-e Elahi.
