Biography
Labibi was a master poet of the first half of the fifth century AH, probably from Khorasan. He had connections with Farrokhi Sistani and acquired such standing in later literary tradition that Mas'ud Sa'd Salman called him a master and Sayyed al-Sho'ara. His complete divan has not survived; only a few qasidas, fragments, and scattered verses remain in early dictionaries.
