Majd al-Din Abu al-Hasan or Abu Eshaq Kasa'i Marvazi

Kasa'i Marvazi was a major fourth-century AH poet active at the end of the Samanid period and the beginning of the Ghaznavid age. He initially composed court praise but later distanced himself from panegyric, and his later poetry shows clear Shi'i tendencies. Several hundred verses, including fragments and rubaiyat, survive under his name.
