Biography
Seyyed Ahmad Hosayni
Hatef Esfahani was a major poet of the Afsharid and Zand periods and an important figure in the Persian literary revival. He wrote qasidas, ghazals, fragments, and rubaiyat but is best known for his celebrated mystical and monotheistic tarji' band. His divan and that famous poem form the core of his literary legacy.
